Every year Coloradans Against Auto Theft puts out a social campaign to raise awareness for puffer week.

Have you ever written from the perspective of what turns a car thief on? Well, I have and the research I had to do for this project was weird and I don’t want to talk about it. But instead, I’ll tell you how we helped Coloradans Against Auto Theft educate people about the popular ways cars thieves steal vehicles. We created a social campaign featuring a fake “dating” app for car thieves looking for just the right car to swipe. Check em out:




Puffer Tale Kids
We love the garbage pail kids. So, we concepted our own spin-off that would ultimately help Coloradans protect their cars while also entertaining them. (And somehow “cold carl” got through. I plead the fifth.)










Puffer Products
I was fresh out of CU Boulder, first day on the job. The team was kicked off on a social campaign to educate Coloradans on “puffer” cars, which are vehicles left running unattended aka the perfect steal. The concept was to create outlandish products that deter thieves from stealing the car. It being my first week and as the new, young, shy writer I was, I slid some pretty gross ideas in there.
